Hollywood California Trip

Hello chicas as a late  follow up to the last post we continue in our trip to North Hollywood, California. This trip was jam packed with action and we had so much fun as well.

As we arrived to our hotel Candy from Curves Ahead Blog greeted us and we just ran up to each other and hugged. It felt like we just picked up where we left off in our text and Facetime conversations. We had not seen each other since March and it seriously felt like an eternity. Subconsciously I thought it had been close to a year since I had last seen her but it was less than that.

It was cold and windy we had minimum three layers I may have had  four! So coffee was perfect that night!

This trip could not be complete without visiting the delicious bakery Porto's that place is so good every item even the red velvet cupcakes which I was surprised.

The evening was spent having dinner on Hollywood Blvd, and went inside the iconic  Roosevelt Hotel.

The Roosevelt Hotel decor was amazing very Old Hollywood.

A few weeks ago I took a trip to California, specifically North Hollywood. It was great to change the scenery and get away for a minute. This trip was much needed as our schedules have been so crazy and it is good to get away especially since the holiday craze is over.

So cozy and perfect location for our stay I loved the fountain and the up lighting at night.

Cozy outdoor touches and many places to sit and drink coffee as well as Decoy Lounge where we relaxed and had a few drinks on the evenings. 

Tula's Cafe had a coffee bar with an extensive coffee menu and a brunch buffet or ala carte menu. The fresh fruit platter was compliments of Chef Raul and the wonderful restaurant staff who made us feel so special.

Then I received this amazing Pink champagne welcome gift along with this centerpiece.

Hello lovely chicas as the title states this is def an outfit of the day post but with a special appearance by my sweet friend Candy. For my bday we decided to take a mini vacay to California specifically the LA area to catch up with my friend and later San Diego for some RnR hahaha.

The weather was mild  during the day and windy and cool in the evening so I decided to wear a tshirt maxi dress with a cotton off the shoulder top in a bright color to contrast it. This outfit was very comfortable and perfect for the beach and walking in the pier. Hope you all had a great weekend I am just getting back into the swing of things.

IMATS 2011

Hola chicas sorry long time no posts but was having some issues with the media card and could not upload pics. Well enough of that I wanna share with you lovelies some of the loot from IMATS this past weekend.

Let me just start off  by saying what a great experience it was and most of all I am so glad to have had Candy from Curves Ahead Makeup blog as a host! Yes she is super nice and her blog is one of my faves but she is even sweeter in person. Once she picked me and my friend Patty from the airport we just started rambling on and on like old friends we totally clicked. Thank you Candy for spending so much time with us during our brief stay in Pasadena! I love blogging and this community as it has put me in the way of the sweetest, nicest, and most creative people I would have not met otherwise or crossed paths with alot of you have become part of my everyday life and so special to me as you all share some part of your lives with me.

IMATS was super packed and they had an astounding amount of makeup, hair, beauty, tools, you name it anything beauty related. They also had fashion shows, classes, and a monster makeup competition which really showcased the talents of the makeup artists as the monsters were indeed scary. I was in awe at all the setups of the booths and the merchandise that I probably did not buy as much as I could have but I did snap alot of pics. Plus there is always next year right girls?! Wink wink ; )

Went out  on the town afterwards. Makeup was courtesy of Candy so we put her skills to work she is so good at makeup.
