OOTD: Taupe Morning

Hola chicas I wanted to share this casual taupe look that I wore the other day for breakfast with my sister. We took advantage of the good light and made a quick post. It's nothing special or unique but I had a great time with her and cherish the moments. May I add I was warm and comfortable as well.

OOTN: Oxblood Peplum

Hope you are all having wonderful holidays and enjoying this time of the year. Here is another outfit that I had not posted hope you like it.

A fitted oxblood pencil skirt with splattered peplum top from the Lana del Rey collection at H&M. I loved this tops not only for its design which is so unique but for its fabric which is so soft and silky makes it a treat to wear. I ended up piring it with bright electric blue mary janes and a steel colored necklace.

Here is a more in depth look at my outfit of the night for FNO. The theme of the night was Little Blaxk Dress and wanted to add something to the LBD so I reached for this gray prinmted blazer that I have only worn one other time. I just love when I find new old treasures in my closet it gives me a novelty and saves me money.

August FOTD (Faces of the Day)

I decided to put this post up as I noticed face pictures in my camera roll. I have noticed that through the month of August it has been all about a clean simple face with just a variation of lip shades and balms. In regards to hair I have to admit that with the weather I have maintained my hair in a back or top bun or straigh sleek with no volume. With this hair regimen I am keeping myself cool and my hair healthy since it has gotten very very limited styling and heat as well as chemicals from products such as hair spray and gels.

Want to look like you spent tons of time getting ready? Want to look different everyday? 

• Use studs, dangly, and various types of earrings (Have them handy for choices)
• Change the position of your ponytail, do the top bun, back bun. Or play with a center or side part it makes a big difference.
• Have a bowl with different lipsticks, balms, or glosses for easy grab and on the go. A new shade everyday makes you feel like a different person and can lift your mood.
• Use scarfs, necklaces to change the look of your top. A simple white top can look totally different if worn with a necklace one day and a scarf later.
• Be comfortable and smile.

OOTD: Casual Vertical Colors

Hola chicas! I bring you today another outfit post of a simple outfit on the weekend, we were doing some shopping, walking around, and road tripping so In an attempt to fit all that and the warm weather wanted to bring some color and be flexible for all the activities above.

Nothing special just emphasized with a vertical colored flowy assymetrical top and some cutoff shorts, and comfy boat shoes which have taken a beating this summer thats for sure.

Haul: A few summer goodies

Hola chicas! I have been trying to be good for the past almost two weeks. Have only picked up items to spruce up what I already own and thing that catch my attention.

All the stuff is from stores like  Forever21, Rainbow, Charlotte Russe, Jewelmint, and some online shopping. I have been going crazy with online shopping lately as it has been so hot here that I avoid going outside as much unless we are going swimming or into another air conditioned area! Hope you like some of the stuff and also please let me know what are your summer goodies and what you like to accessorize with this summer so that I too can get my hands on those goodies.
