OOTD: Hot White Dress

Hello beautiful chicas now that the wedding craziness is over I wanted to share with you my outfit of the day for my engagement photos.

Spring season makes me so happy as the color pallet changes into uplifting shades that makes me smile. I love being outdoors these days and this day was no exception. I decided to go with white as it has not only been a huge trend this season but has always been a personal favorite of mine. This is a crochet type of texture which was very comfortable and the material felt as if I was wearing nothing. For shoes I paired it with the Fancy Steps nude Kim pumps which add a little bit of height but don't weigh you down or make you tired. The nude color and the clear sections make your legs appear longer which I definitely benefit from in that department.

Outfit of the Day: Textured Scarf

This picture was from over a week ago and once again Instagram was the culprit as I post it there but forgot to post it here.

It is a blurry image but I wanted to show you it either way. It was a very cold day and I was indoors most of the day with the exception in the evening hunnybun and I went to do some shopping and had some coffee afterwards.

I was having the worst hair day and with the cold weather which I am a sissy to I did not care. I was wearing all black and not feeling my usual self but when I threw on the scarf I felt warm and soft that it made me wear a bright lip and go out in public to make it a great evening.

Do you ever have those days where you just don't want to go anywhere or do anything? I rarely do but It ended up being a perfect relaxed evening as it was so slow at most stores and we had time to browse without crowds and relax and chit chat over coffee.

August FOTD (Faces of the Day)

I decided to put this post up as I noticed face pictures in my camera roll. I have noticed that through the month of August it has been all about a clean simple face with just a variation of lip shades and balms. In regards to hair I have to admit that with the weather I have maintained my hair in a back or top bun or straigh sleek with no volume. With this hair regimen I am keeping myself cool and my hair healthy since it has gotten very very limited styling and heat as well as chemicals from products such as hair spray and gels.

Want to look like you spent tons of time getting ready? Want to look different everyday? 

• Use studs, dangly, and various types of earrings (Have them handy for choices)
• Change the position of your ponytail, do the top bun, back bun. Or play with a center or side part it makes a big difference.
• Have a bowl with different lipsticks, balms, or glosses for easy grab and on the go. A new shade everyday makes you feel like a different person and can lift your mood.
• Use scarfs, necklaces to change the look of your top. A simple white top can look totally different if worn with a necklace one day and a scarf later.
• Be comfortable and smile.

Hair Changes and Simple Outfits

Hola chicas I thought I would update you on some pictures I had but not shared. I have been going through somewhat of a chameleon phase when it comes to hair and even fashion. I have this thing that I get bored of my hair about every 3-4 months like a clockwork. I decided to try the bangs since I live the way they look but its too daring for me. What do you think?

A few days before the change went to an outdoor festival clean makeup emphasize the lashes and Saucy Mauve Lipstick Maybelline. Comfy wedges and denim on denim kept me cool.

OOTN: Top Knot with Red

Hola chicas here is an outfit I wore to the previous event I attended. It was a cold night and I had initially planned to wear a dress but as I ran late I knew it was not going to work out due to ill preparation and the fact that I was a bit bloated : (

I decided to pull out this red blazer I wore in a previous post HERE. I wanted something besides a black top that would make it stand out. The week before I had scored a fab vintage silk loose top that was black and had vertical black stripes. I did not want to be too casual but did not want to be to office-y looking by wearing slacks. I finished off the look with these stretchy fabric and stretchy pleather pants that were so comfortable.

I hope you like this outfit and enjoyed it as much as I did. Sometimes the things we have planned out in our head that don't come out benefit us and push us to be more creative.

Homecoming Photoshoot for The House of Wade Lee

Hola chicas this past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to assist my good friemd Wade Lee from The House of Wade Lee for his new promotional Homecoming photoshoot.

There were two super cute models who were such good sports about everything, even fighting for the crown! Fashion styling was done by Monyca Cordova who is co-founder of Deeds of Love clothing line and Hair and Makeup by Wade Lee and Photography by JLynn Photography.

Everyone was so nice to work with and im the end all the poses came out great and my friends promo was very nicely done. I love collaborating with people in anything I can to help as I exercise my networking skills and also a little bit of my hair and makeup background as well taking photos to cover the event on the blog and share with you. It is so fulfilling seeing a project complete that you were part of as it took a collective effort to complete.

Hair Did: Copper Highlights

Hola ladies. So I found myself in another har rut and wanted to take action before the weekend began last week. Soooo contacted the fabolous hair and beauty guru Wade Lee.

Here's a pic he took of me and the finished product wich I am pretty happy with. Mind you this was a fter a looong day so I may not look so fresh faced but thats all the time we had. I had such a great time sitting in the char of his salon as we  talked beauty all night long so he definitely makes people feel comfortable. He also has a you tube channel wich I will post the link to as well.
