Outfit of the Day: Textured Scarf

This picture was from over a week ago and once again Instagram was the culprit as I post it there but forgot to post it here.

It is a blurry image but I wanted to show you it either way. It was a very cold day and I was indoors most of the day with the exception in the evening hunnybun and I went to do some shopping and had some coffee afterwards.

I was having the worst hair day and with the cold weather which I am a sissy to I did not care. I was wearing all black and not feeling my usual self but when I threw on the scarf I felt warm and soft that it made me wear a bright lip and go out in public to make it a great evening.

Do you ever have those days where you just don't want to go anywhere or do anything? I rarely do but It ended up being a perfect relaxed evening as it was so slow at most stores and we had time to browse without crowds and relax and chit chat over coffee.

OOTD: 4th of July Edition

Happy 4th of July to all of you. I saw so many posts and pictures here on blogger as well as Twitter and Instagram. I really enjoyed looking through everyone's pictures and all the different ways that 4th of July was being celebrated whether it be a cookout, bbq, baking, or just out by the pool. It was all smiles with friend, family, and loved ones.

The day started off rainy and then got humid and warm from there. That didn't stop the fireworks of course. I wore a navy blue sheer top and white denim shorts and threw on some red peep toe heels to complete the third color. I had fun with this look and there was no doubt this color combo was intentional.

Oh I also attempted to do a video log of the outfit before I took these pictures. The mini vlog of the outfot is on my Youtube channel HERE

OOTN: Impromptu Blues

Hola chicas this outfit of the night says Impromptu which means suddenly or hastily prepared, improvised. Well what can I say I was so tired after a long day at work and then I had to go cover an event which is absolutely fun but not after a hectic 9 hour workday!

I seriously had not even a hint of what I would wear so I improvised like the title says. I pulled out this vintage leather skirt over a black cami and my black and white zip up jacket. For accessories I kept it minimal as I had no time or energy even forgot earrings! To end it off I decided to throw these blue mary janes I got last week and voila!

Now with minimal time I didn't even bother with the hair and makeup and my hubby managed to take these quick and candid (grrrrr!) photos of me that are not the best but you get the idea. One item (leather skirt) and I worked my outfit around that its quick and easy and not too bad results. I was surprised.

Have you ever used one item and benefited from the inspiration it gives you?

Hot mess but I got there!

OOTD: Hitting the pool!

Hola lovely chicas well since its the middle of the week I decided to show you all a quick post of my outfit if you can call it that when I was getting ready to hit the pool this weekend.

Very basic ensemble to layer and easy to put on and over my bathing suit but still versatile enough to throw on a necklace on and  hat to accesorieze and get some lunch and drinks afterwards without having to go back home and get ready all over again.

I have really been appreciating and liking simple pieces as they seem to fit and coordiante with any color, print, and occasion. No need to worry about matching or fit and love that becasue it saves me so much time and that is the best so that I can enjoy my time off and maximize the time with my loved ones. Well hope you like this simple but nothing fancy post ladies let me know what you think and what you wear when you have to go from the pool/beach straight to lunch/dinner.
