OOTD: Silky Top Denim Shorts

Hi there lovelies! This weekend I was going through so many pictures from the early 90's on the internet. I noticed in the early 90's era there was many silky printed tops worn and also rayon shirts with weird designs as well as light denim shorts.

I had this top for a few months from a trip to the thrift store. My sister Kenia thought it was interesting since it had perfume bottles and glasses along with other girly stuff so I took it from her. The shorts have just been acquired. I've been looking everywhere for "MOM" jeans. I finally found these Ralph Lauren mom jeans and cut them to make these cuffed shorts.

I look straight out of a 1993 photo album voila! I loved it was super comfortable and had a blast wearing this. Isn't it crazy how dressing from a different era can give you a different feeling and give you excitement?

OOTD: Forgotten Mint Romper

The title of this post reveals quite a bit about this romper. I had it for over a year and was gifted to me by my mom one time we went on a shopping trip. I remember thinking how cute it was but never wore it due to the fact that the material is super thin and I felt so insecure about it showing too much.

Well this week as I was decluttering my closet and making piles of things to get rid of and this resurfaced. This time I knew the color was now IN and just had to make it work somehow. I added a denim vest to give me a bit more coverage. Overall I was super comfortable around the pool area and basically felt like I was wearing nothing since it is so light.

As for the hair and face no big deal I was outdoors in the sun and heat all day so it was no fuss style minimal pink lips and some bronzer, straight hair.

Hair Changes and Simple Outfits

Hola chicas I thought I would update you on some pictures I had but not shared. I have been going through somewhat of a chameleon phase when it comes to hair and even fashion. I have this thing that I get bored of my hair about every 3-4 months like a clockwork. I decided to try the bangs since I live the way they look but its too daring for me. What do you think?

A few days before the change went to an outdoor festival clean makeup emphasize the lashes and Saucy Mauve Lipstick Maybelline. Comfy wedges and denim on denim kept me cool.

OOTD: Denim and Bold Color

Hola chicas! This weekend I finally experienced the weather changing and I truly enjoyed it and made the most out of it by being outdoors at my family gathering.

The event was not all outdoors however I could not help feeling like a child who wants to go out and play and enjoy the sun and the crisp fall breeze. Afterall this is a rare thing in Arizona so when it is the season we are all over it.

I have been wanting to wear my denim jacket for a while so pulled that out and paired it with some skinny black jeans, and decided to throw on a colorful scarf to brighten up the look. Just becasue it is fall does not mean we have to tick to a certain color palltete and felt so much more playful once I added the scarf. My boots were so comfy and kept me warm.

OOTD: Denim on Denim

Hola chicas hope you all had a fantabolous weekend and getting revved up for another exciting week. It has been a busy week for me as I was working and then afterwards covering some events for Phoenix Fashion Week simultaneously. It was a great experience but now I am trying to get back into the swing of things to a normal pace.

I decided to wear denim on denim as it is not as warm anymore. I also incorporated some fall colors with a hat and some necklaces to add to the look. It was a simple look that I was happy and comfortable with to end my crazy week. On my face I did tinted moisturizer for light coverage, and for eyes soft gold, with a burnt orange and eyeliner to seal the look.
