Hollywood California Trip

Hello chicas as a late  follow up to the last post we continue in our trip to North Hollywood, California. This trip was jam packed with action and we had so much fun as well.

As we arrived to our hotel Candy from Curves Ahead Blog greeted us and we just ran up to each other and hugged. It felt like we just picked up where we left off in our text and Facetime conversations. We had not seen each other since March and it seriously felt like an eternity. Subconsciously I thought it had been close to a year since I had last seen her but it was less than that.

It was cold and windy we had minimum three layers I may have had  four! So coffee was perfect that night!

My beautiful bridesmaid and I. Love this picture
Bride and bridesmaid time shopping at the beautiful flower marker. Out cute heart friendship rings, and the pink champagne courtesy of Candy.
This trip could not be complete without visiting the delicious bakery Porto's that place is so good every item even the red velvet cupcakes which I was surprised.

The evening was spent having dinner on Hollywood Blvd, and went inside the iconic  Roosevelt Hotel.
The Roosevelt Hotel decor was amazing very Old Hollywood.
Had to take this picture for my friend.

The Beverly Garland Hotel

A few weeks ago I took a trip to California, specifically North Hollywood. It was great to change the scenery and get away for a minute. This trip was much needed as our schedules have been so crazy and it is good to get away especially since the holiday craze is over.

So cozy and perfect location for our stay I loved the fountain and the up lighting at night.
Cozy outdoor touches and many places to sit and drink coffee as well as Decoy Lounge where we relaxed and had a few drinks on the evenings.
Tula's Cafe had a coffee bar with an extensive coffee menu and a brunch buffet or ala carte menu. The fresh fruit platter was compliments of Chef Raul and the wonderful restaurant staff who made us feel so special.
Then I received this amazing Pink champagne welcome gift along with this centerpiece.

You want to know who this is from? Stay tuned for the second part of this post.

OOTN: Altitude

Decided to post this outfit of the night that I only had these pictures for very limited. Excuse the quality but it was something quick and evening so it was dark. I found this blazer with cute off white and black stripes to offset the neon Cami and fuchsia lips. What i was wearing on my lips and my outfit reminded me of the club we were in that very night so also included an inspiration picture here.

OOTD: Mint Flowers

Holas chicas Spring is here and of course I had to whip out this dress that I had hauled a few months  ago. I featured it in one of my video hauls and just wore it this weekend to be en route on a trip for my hunny's birthday.

I got so many compliments on this dress. Some friends and I were walking in Downtown San Diego and we got stopped by this group of people who were on a scavenger hunt and they needed a picture with someone wearing BRIGHT clothes! I felt weird but I wanted to help them so I posed all funny like they did and they finally got their picture.

This was very comfortable and fitting and loose in all the right places.I also got my nails did and had not really tried any purples and I had to go to a different nail salon because it was very late in the evening. I picked a very  unconventional color that I hardly wear but I was happy with it and its only for a week and a half or so before I go back lol.

Apologies for these pictures I have not been using my DSLR camera very much its just so heavy to be carrying around sometimes. Do you all use your big cameras for all your posts or do you sometimes blog from your phones? I am just curious since it has been so much quicker for me but I know the picture quality may not be comparable.

OOTD: Santa Barbara

The birthday girls weekend continued as we headed up the coast to lovely Santa Barbara. The Hyatt Santa Barbara was so lovely and had a quaint Spanish Style architecture. We had a great view of the beach and also conveniently situated poolside which also included a jacuzzi. The bed was super soft and comfortable as if you had fallen into a pile of feathers.

Fancy girls reunion

Excited to have a girls weekend
For my outfit I decided to wear all colors as it is now spring and I wanted to whip out my new mint jeans that I have been dying to wear. I had the perfect blazer to go with this as well and the shoes were an added bonus as Candy let me borrow her shoes. That was the high light of the trip all the girls that went all had the same shoe size so you can imagine the dozens of shoe selection we had in our room.

Blazer: GAP vintage, Jeans: Forever 21, Top: Stylemint Purse: Rainbow
Necklace and Ring: Forever21

OOTD and Friend's Bday Celebration

We ordered The Mulberry and boy did this get us going early that is all I can say.

The Wilshire view on the rooftop
This past weekend was my dear friend Candy's bday celebration and what better way to celebrate then to be together and celebrate all the good times of another year. This occassion was celebrated at The Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles which is a modern boutique hotel in the midst of the metropolitan LA area. The room had a soft bed and flat screen TV perfect for a girls night weekend or a romantic getaway as well. There are no complaints of the staff who were very accomodating to our requests for parking and even moved our reservation at the roof to their inside section to make sure we did not get rained on. I would definitely reccommend this hotel since it was so convenient to check in check out and get your car so quickly.

I decided to wear a LBD you can never go wrong with that and to match that some stellar Dream Come True pumps that were so sparkly. I loosely curled my hair and topped it off with a chandelier necklace which I had not worn at all. This is only the beggining of our weekend so stay tuned for more pics later on.
