Spring 2013 Shopping Inspiration

As I run on my daily shopping trips and even when I am supposed to be on a break I always make sure there is time to browse. I think we can all agree that store displays are the best places for style inspiration. The retail designers always display multiple layers of clothing if it is a mannequin or several elements if it is a table scape where you just want to get your hands on every single item.

Whether or not you succumb to your evil shopping conscience is a gamble but one thing is for sure you are almost instantly inspired to get an item of that color or in that mood.

I have been browsing for the past week and could not help to clear mu mind of all these spring prints and bright colors that make me feel like taking a walk in a park that is filled with lots of colorful foliage and well manicured spring landscape.

Are you into spring colors yet? What is your fave spring shade?

OOTD: Green Pant Fail

Hola chicas I was busy working half of the weekend so it feels super quick and now here I am getting everything ready to start my week. Well what can I say the title of the post is green pant fail because I did not realize that these pants are a size larger than what I normally wear. I honestly did not like the way they looked on me and how they bunched up at the waist and got looser through the day.

I debated on putting this post up as it got late and there was no bright light so these pictures will have to do. I guess I am proof that not every day is perfect and not every look will look the best. Hope you all had a great weekend.

OOTD: Sunny Orange

Hello lovely chicas I have noticed all around your blogs and one thing in common is that many people are definitely dressing for this hot and humid and maybe sticky weather. However that is not impeding many of you to pull off some creative and beautiful looks I am seeing around so wanted to bring a pop of color before the end of the season as well.

Here I bring to you a bright shirt that makes me think of Sunny Delight orange juice of how bright it is and how much impact this color gives I absolutely love it and want to incorporate it more in other looks I am thinking of.

I hope you like this quick post and please let me know what colors you have been wearing more this summer to beat the heat.

OOTD and My very first thrifting haul

Hola chicas, today wanted to share a video to my outfit of the day from the previous post here and also my very first thrifting haul.

I accompanied my sister to a thrift store as she was looking for props and pieces for her school project. I had not been to a thrift store in years and boy did this blow my mind away as I was able to find several items that I liked and were so unique. I def want to return when I have a chance.

Do any of you go or have gone thrifting? If so what are your tips and tricks?

Vid on my YouTube channel: Please subscribe as I get comfy with this.

OOTD: Summer Warm Tones

Hola chicas today was a super busy day not to mention weekend for me. I totally forgot to take pics of my outfit yesterday as I forgot my camera at home once I realized we were at the event we attended and I actually looked cute that day.

Oh well this busy Sunday I remembered to bring it and although it was over 110 degrees outside I managed to pull myself together. This warm weather will be continuing for the next month or two here I believe so I pulled out this maxi dress that I had not worn before from the back of the closet and cinched it with a brown belt to not bulk my figure. Threw on some sandals with a small wedge and voila got this little outfit ready to beat the heat. I incorporated the warm tones from the dress patterns into the brown belt and tied it in with the orange chandelier earrings hope you like this look.
