OOTN and FOTN: Swallows

Hola chicas! Here is an outfit of the night. It was super casual but I tried to make it a little bit more stylish by adding a scarf that had these neat swallow birdies printed on it.

I went out to dinner with my hunnbunn so I guess you could say it was a casual date night and I was trying lol. I added a teal blue batwing top and my scarf. Underneath the scarf a long necklace that came in a set but only used one.

Makeup a soft bronzey look and peachy cheeks nude lip. Please excuse some of the images they were at night so they may not be very clear.

OOTD: Business Casual

There are days where I love my sleep. I play a game of tag with that snooze button and while I get a few more minutes of blissfull sleep there are consequences to this.

I have to negotiate with time and what I will actually put thought into looking like for the rest of the day. I was hesitant to put this up but hey we are all REAL here and no one is PERFECT. I grabbed a gray Old Navy scoop tee and my distressed jeans. Now that was PLAIN! So I threw on a pop of color with a two toned infinity scarf and some electric blue mara janes and a neutral blazer. Now we're talking!  

Rundown of the quick out the door outfit that there was no thought into. My bracelet is a grift from a friend from Kenya porcupine can you believe it!

Of course the compromise and negotiation came down to my hair and makeup. Messy bun with a side part and a little bit of hair serum to the ends and the makeup was very natural for my day.

In a neutral world. These babies brightened up my day.

My "Dynasty" style clutch I found at a vintage consignment shop I am in love with metallic things lately.

Weekend Shopping and Sales

Hola chicas another start to a magnificent week and continue with the enegy. Happy Chinese New Year and rememeber that it is the year of the Dragon and it signifies POWER!

This weeekend was short and sweet however I managed to snag some goodies all at super great prices. I just love it when stores are changing their inventory so that I can shop for next to nothing and not feel guilty.

First stop was CVS which had a 75% off Milani Cosmetics. I made out like a bandit an spent about $20 for so much products which I have been wanting to try. I even made a video haul about it I was so excited to let everyone know about it.

Next stop JcPenney where I did some multitasking at their Sephora counter and snagged more colored jeans. They were orifinally $22.00 but these were marked down way below that!!

OOTD: Neutral Tribal Print

I know there was a wave of tribal prints last year with bright colors and bold graphics. But lately I have been spotting these prints at stores and also on some runway images but in more neutral colors. I believe that these can work for cool weather and transition into spring depending on the fabric.

My sister was wearing a very similar type of color pattern on her sweater the other day and it loosely reminded me of this trend. I really like how she layered the printed sweater and made it her own with the accesories and she kept warm with the tights and boots.

OOTD: Youre my boy Blue!

Hola chicas hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Well here is a simple outfit that was super comfortable and still had a kick to it. Took a flowy lace top that I had in my closet and paired it with these electric blue jeans. I love colored denim and wish I owned all the colors. Colored denim is so effortless as all the work is done with that big bang of color.

Kept the top and shoes neutral color. I love these Lola booties super comfortable and still gives you that height.

OOTD: A New Day

Hola chicas hope you are all having an excellent first week of the year and keeping yourselves smiling and motivated as I am doing.

On the first day of the year after meeting up with amazing bloggers and my friend Candy I decided to continue my celebration of a new year with my friend. He is a great motivator and loves to take pictures and go hiking. On this day we decided to spontaneously go try a new for us seafood restaurant.

Before that we had some margaritas by the pool. The weather was nice and crisp not too hot or cold. This was a perfect occasion for us to set our goals and mind up for the new year and see what it has in store for us. I love days like this. Days when you do not plan a thing but everything is perfect and falls into place. Days where you have a smile on your face at all times.

OOTN: Cold Dark Night

Hello chicas! I bring you an outfit look that was suited for an outdoor evening where it was cold and much walking taking place.

Sure I could have just pulled out my old beat up Ugg boots and a hoodie that I had but I just could not bring myself to do that. I leave that for lounging around the house if I MUST!!

Spotted this oversize shawl like sweater and decided to layer it on top of a plain black fitted long sleeve top. Colored denim really helps to pull this together as it gave color to the grey.

Happy 2012!

Well hello there chicas! A new year and a new chapter of our lives now begins. What a wonderful way to end 2011 it was for me and my hubby as we got a warm visit from my friend Candy from Curves Ahead blog and her hubby.

I was ecstatic as this was a last minute trip. I was so happy to have my friend and partner in  my town oh yeah. We ate, shopped, and  talked makeup, fashion, and of course shoes. Celebrated the new year with a great ending and beggining.
