OOTN: Adding neon

Hola chicas neon colors are all the craze right now as well as pastels. Somhow the neon always grabs my attention since it looks like its a lighting struvture so bright on its own.

I have only a few things in this color scheme one was a wallet that my mom had bought me at Marshall's and another was also from the same place but a sheer chiffon flowy top. I really loved this outfit it was edgy a bit of a trendy element and super easy to throw together.

OOTD: Santa Barbara

The birthday girls weekend continued as we headed up the coast to lovely Santa Barbara. The Hyatt Santa Barbara was so lovely and had a quaint Spanish Style architecture. We had a great view of the beach and also conveniently situated poolside which also included a jacuzzi. The bed was super soft and comfortable as if you had fallen into a pile of feathers.

Myself, Candy, and Jackie.

Fancy girls reunion

Excited to have a girls weekend
For my outfit I decided to wear all colors as it is now spring and I wanted to whip out my new mint jeans that I have been dying to wear. I had the perfect blazer to go with this as well and the shoes were an added bonus as Candy let me borrow her shoes. That was the high light of the trip all the girls that went all had the same shoe size so you can imagine the dozens of shoe selection we had in our room.

OOTD and Friend's Bday Celebration

We ordered The Mulberry and boy did this get us going early that is all I can say.

The Wilshire view on the rooftop
This past weekend was my dear friend Candy's bday celebration and what better way to celebrate then to be together and celebrate all the good times of another year. This occassion was celebrated at The Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles which is a modern boutique hotel in the midst of the metropolitan LA area. The room had a soft bed and flat screen TV perfect for a girls night weekend or a romantic getaway as well. There are no complaints of the staff who were very accomodating to our requests for parking and even moved our reservation at the roof to their inside section to make sure we did not get rained on. I would definitely reccommend this hotel since it was so convenient to check in check out and get your car so quickly.

I decided to wear a LBD you can never go wrong with that and to match that some stellar Dream Come True pumps that were so sparkly. I loosely curled my hair and topped it off with a chandelier necklace which I had not worn at all. This is only the beggining of our weekend so stay tuned for more pics later on.

Hair Changes and Simple Outfits

Hola chicas I thought I would update you on some pictures I had but not shared. I have been going through somewhat of a chameleon phase when it comes to hair and even fashion. I have this thing that I get bored of my hair about every 3-4 months like a clockwork. I decided to try the bangs since I live the way they look but its too daring for me. What do you think?

Lipstick: WetnWild 511b Eyes: Two Faced Purple Eyeshadow in Purple
The weather has been super crazy one day its cold and windy and took out my Fancy Steps RxQueen bootie which I absolutely love.
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
Farrah Fawcett feathered hair and dramatic lashes.
Back View when my hair had just been cut and colored Ombre style
A few days before the change went to an outdoor festival clean makeup emphasize the lashes and Saucy Mauve Lipstick Maybelline. Comfy wedges and denim on denim kept me cool.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Review and GIVEAWAY!

Hola chicas! It's giveaway time and who does not like a perk to get a whole set of a trustworthy skin care line right? Valued at $50.00

Received this wonderful line of Neutrogena Deep Clean line and I have been using it for the past few weeks and here are some of my observations and mini review:

1)The daily scrub has very fine beads but they are not abrasive or leave redness behind
2) The gentle cream cleanser is creamy and feels very watery but does not make your skin feel tight or itchy as I have experienced with other cleansers.
3) The oil based makeup remover does its job when applied to a cotton ball and tapped but for those that wear waterproof mascara they may have to go in for a second c otton ball with this remover. It is oil based so it does leave a hint of residue but not as much as if you were to use olive oil in its entirety.
4)The makeup removing wipes were a great way to remove foundation and overall clean my face especialky on a late weekend night of partying it took almost all the makeup except the inner corner eyeliner which is a hard to reach area.
5) The oil blotting sheets are made of a silky plastic like material that glides on yor skin very smoothly.

Result:
Overall I would definitely recommend this line and as opposed to the last line from this company this is not harsh on your skin or limited to people with acneic or oily skin. I did not break out or experience extreme dryness or oilyness with this line using it daily. I would say this line can go well with majority of skin.

OOTD and FOTD: Casual Afternoon

Hola chicas so sad to see the weekend come to an end. Well here is a look that I wore this weekend I went shopping with my sister and my mom.  I didn't want to have perfectly styled hair and since I would be potentially trying things on so the straight hair is easy and a loose fitted print top was perfect for the warm weather as well.

Mini CVS Haul

Hola chicas I have not been keeping things organized and track of the things I buy too consistently. Part of this is to blame YOU ladies on the blogs and on Instagram keep feeding my buying when you post some enticing beauty products lol.

Well I have been popping into drugstores during my lunchtime or when on an errand and usually these are FLASH trips about 12-15 minutes in duration that usually consist of grabbing things Im curious about or my good 'ol faves.

I had a 25% off coupon loaded on to my CVS card electronically so this is even more ressure to go on my guilt free drugstore runs.

I picked up:
Broadway Nails that were on sale french manicure and a zebra trimmed tip pair.
Ambi Even Tone SPF Face cream
Studio 35 Buffing Brush (I like the small size and how thick it is)
Sinful Nail Polishes (3 of them green and green glitter flecks, also lavender)
WetnWild nail polish (1 forgot the name)
Jordana Easyliner Retractable Eyeliner (I wear this everyday on my lower lashes $1.99 for YEARS)
Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipsticks in 04 and 01 (These were the last two of the collection I needed)
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation and Concelear (This has been my March foundation I am still using it now to test it out)
Hershey's Milk Chocolate and Almond (Not for me someone else ate it as a pm snack)
Stride Spark with B6 and B12 vitamins (Flacro Kinetic Mint woa)

Oh and almost forgot these Revlon lip butters Candy Apple and Lollipop were on sale $4.49 instead of the usual $7.50 or $8.00 last week at Walgreen's and picjed these up on another trip. I know you can find some great deals at Meijer and their beauty supplies

Even with a small to medium loot I walk out feeling good when I go on these flash drugstore hauls plus they have a great policy about exchanging and returning items you are not satisfied with (which I never do) and coupons to top it off.
