FOTN: Smokey green and teal

Hola chicas I had totally forgotten to post this look from a while ago. It is a smokey green and teal look using the Wet n Wild palette in Pride and it is a great look for brown eyes I got many compliments from the hunnybun in this. I love these palettes they are so small and easy to travel with and the color payoff is amazing for their cost.

Blush: NYX in Pinched
This was my inspiration the pool area of the hotel at night when we returned from dinner. Blues and greens and something dark in there.

Smudged the darkest e/s color and black pencil eyeliner then layered the colors on top.

Lips: MAC Angel, Gaga and NYX Lipgloss on top in Beige.

Review: Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control Giveaway CLOSED

Hola chicas I received this Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control product line for review purposes and I have been testing it out for the past 6 weeks. The reason why I have been trying them out for so long to make sure I give you my proper review and experience with this line. I am not a rookie to Neutrogena and have been using their products since I was 12. The last product line I tried was the Oil Free Acne Line in Pink grapefruit which really worked out well for my facial skin as well as for the skin on my body.

Here is the entire line photographed when I opened the box.
What it claims: Neutrogena Acne Stress control is designed to help you fight acne where it starts, while actively reducing the irritation and redness associated with breakouts. Acne stress control is so advanced , it treats acne before it emerges.

What it did:  I started with the cleansing facial pads and they were very moist and smelled like a high content of alcohol. I don't mind the smell of certain products but this reminded me purely of a cotton dipped in alcohol. I removed my makeup with these pads and used two. Instantly noticed a stingy feeling, the next day I also used to remove my makeup at night and had same effect. These remove the top layer of dirt and makeup but my skin did not react well to it. This is to be used instead of cleanser it claims.

The next product I opted for was the Power clear scrub which had a thick consistency. Its beads were not perfectly round they were more like a grounded up rock small minerals. I did not mind and actually liked this as they really sloughed away my dead skin cells around my nose and my chin. I used this twice per week then three times per week I liked it so much.

Next item on the list was the triple action toner. One thing I love it using toner as this is a product that when I started incorporating into my beauty routing in 2009 I noticed a big difference in even complexion. I normally use a witch hazel toner. This toner was very clean smelling and did its job even removed extra hard to reach dirt after cleanser. I experienced no irritation with this product although it contains some alcohol leaves your skin feeling very clean.

I proceeded to use the hydrating acne treatment. This was a very thin consistency and did not feel very moist or greasy as its purpose is to hydrate slightly but not leave the skin dewy or oily to kill the bacteria that causes acne.It felt soothing and dissipates quickly.

On and off in the mornings I would switch off between the foaming cleanser and the cream cleanser which was my favorite as it was a milder formula.Overall this was a good line as it dried up some of the active breakouts I had an kept my skin from getting too irritated and soothed the redness that some acne and oily skin treatments can sometimes do as the alcohol content is high. I would definitely recommend this to people who suffer from mild to severe acne whether adults or teenagers.

Another close up of the line and the bath set it comes with I forgot to take another pic of the detail in the clear bath set pictured here.

Bonus/Giveaway: As an incentive to you lovely readers Neutrogena has this entire line along with the travel bath set as a giveaway not ONE but TWO lucky ones!! This giveaway is valued at $60.00! NOTD: Kitty Kitty Nails Sally Hansen Salon Effects

usingHola chicas! Been experimenting and DIY more on the nail stuff. Now don't get too excited please as I am just getting the hang of this being patient and caring for my nails on my own thing. i have let my nails breathe for about 3 weeks now free of acrylics and gels.

I thought why not make them look cute while Im letting them grow out? I used Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips in Kitty Kitty that I purchased at Ulta last week. I have never used these nail polish strips I noticed as soon as I opened the package they were in they actually smelled like nail polish. The strips were a slick and thin film like consistency and they were so easy to use.

This literally took 12 minutes and I was watching tv as well so Im sure it could've been sooner. Im happy with the result I thought they would be messier to use but not bad. Now the test to see how long they last. Its a great way to spice up your nails when you are in a hurry.

Have any of you ladies used these Sally Hansen Salon Effects strips? Or any of these products? If so how long did they last? Im curious.

Non OOTN: Black mesh

Hola lovely chicas! Well its been a super busy week and its only the middle of it so I have been very bad about updating this week but I have some things coming up to show you being a haul, video, and a giveaway ahhhaa! I was actually debating whether or not I should post this NON outfit as it was very dark outside and it was a super quick thing I threw together so hope you don't mind the dark pictures. I have been getting out of work late or running around and home late.

Just a black mesh sweater and a black cami layered underneath. I was actually going to wear a colored cami underneath for contrast but did not put much thought into this and just incorporated a bit of color with pink lips and slight aqua blue eyeliner. Hope you like this simple NON outfit of the night. Bye!! besos! xoxo

OOTN: Feline and Red

Hola chicas I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. It was a friends birthday and we decided to meet up for dinner and drinks at a Mexican cantina where we had a great time eating some good spicy chips and salsa and enchiladas, as well as some yummy margaritas. However before beginning the festivities I was in such a hurry to get there that I just tousled my hair half curled half not and the BIGGEST mistake was for me to forgo putting on mascara!

I know its the most important thing but I was literally running out the door trying to get my camera and some balloons we had to take but I quickly realized I felt a little NAKED without them! Lesson learned NEVER forget to put on mascara. Well here is a feline inspired night out on the town outfit I was very comfortable and this top was actually long and loose but I tucked it in and put the bodycon skirt cinched with a studded black belt and shiny black pumps.

Despite my big makeup mistake I had a great time dancing and chatting with my friends. Have any of you chicas ever forgotten anything from your beauty routine?

Non-OOTN: Crisp White shirt

Hola chicas here is another installment of a NON outfit of the night. It was a lazy Sunday and the hunnybun and I  went out for a casual dinner and a movie. I felt very relaxed and we were not in a hurry to be anywhere so I also took this approach into my look and even mentioned to him that I felt weird with my hair rolled up like this and he said he liked the way my hair looks up rather than down which I was surprised. For my face I went for a simple base on my eyes and a soft brown color from the UD Naked pallette and some winged liner and a warm red tone for my lips.

It was breezy so I opted for a tissue white button down shirt and cinched its flowy-ness with a brown skinny belt along with some very light weight brown sandals I had.  Please excuse the picture quality it was late at into the evening and visibility was not so good.
